BThe Man
The Man Behind the Mixer
25+ Years in electronic music
Jack Cartel is a DJ and music producer built around the sound and spirit of UK club culture. With UK Garage and UK House at the core, his music moves naturally through Speed Garage, Bassline, Bass House, Jackin House and Drum & Bass, bringing together old-school influences and a modern club-driven production style.
Behind the project is more than 25 years of experience in electronic music. That background gives Jack Cartel the freedom to move between styles without losing direction, blending groove, bass, melody and rhythm into sets that feel connected rather than restricted by genre.
His influences stretch from the classic house sound of DJ Tonka and De Layna to the new generation of UK artists such as Sammy Virji and Dom Scanlon, while the more melodic and high-impact side of Drum & Bass draws inspiration from names including Sub Focus, Andromedik and Dimension.
For Jack Cartel, the focus is simple: music with movement, character and a strong connection to the dancefloor. Whether it comes through a rolling UKG groove, a heavy Speed Garage bassline or a euphoric Drum & Bass moment, the identity remains the same — club music made to be felt as much as heard.
